As promised, this is the third article in a three-part series that explores biological dentistry.

There are rare few dental professionals in the world who will take the time to educate us the way Dr. Paul O’Malley does in his series of video presentations. And trust me, the more you learn the better you can converse with any dentist about the work you may or may not need done in your mouth.

You can gain invaluable cutting-edge dental information from Dr. O’Malley here:

Learning about some aspects of modern dentistry was disturbing, like how much tooth enamel and dentin most dentists drill away unnecessarily when prepping a tooth for a crown! CrAzY!

As well, one of the most exciting whole health advances I’ve heard about is the idea of brushing one’s teeth with mud! Okay, it’s actually clay to be accurate, but the word mud seems more shocking. Haha!

Yes, Trina Felber created a product called, Dirty Mouth toothpowder that contains three kinds of clay that can actually remineralize the enamel (outer white layer) of teeth! Check out her video about it here:

The synchronistic thing about this is I had 3 little sample packets of dental mud from the holistic dentist I had seen and had never opened–until I had my mini freak out (about my teeth turning gray) and after watching Trina’s toothpowder video.

Another win, was having previously bought a Rotodent electric toothbrush from the holistic dentist.

See more about it and order from this link:

One of the things I love about this amazing toothbrush is how tiny the bristles are (they reach into spaces that my other toothbrush can’t), and it vibrates the gums and teeth, which on a metaphysical level, I believe, rejuvenates all.

While brushing, I think about all the little dental tubules within my teeth. You could try that too! We can send thoughts of love and care to our teeth (sort of dentin affirmations, if you will) while brushing.

Part 1 of this series can be read at: Healthy Recipes After Oral Surgery.

Part 2 can be read at: Before you go to a holistic or biologic dentist

After brushing, my chiropractor who specializes in Nutrition Response Testing found by muscle testing me that I would also benefit from using this inexpensive homeopathic dental spray called, NEWhuman Teeth & Gums ProtoGenX oral care, which is reported to help heal teeth and gums:

Now, after freaking out about my natural teeth turning gray, I was in a rush to figure something out. I had nightmares of my teeth falling out in little piles!

I’m so ecstatic to report that the “before” picture (on the left) has totally been rejuvenated at home as the “after” picture (after only 2 weeks of using the dental mud product) shows (on the right).

As for where and how to find a biomimetic dentist, check out the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry page here.

There are different levels of Biomimetic Dentists, the ONLY level you should trust your mouth to is a MASTER OF BIOMIMETIC DENTISTRY. The group is called BMG (Biomimetic Masters Group) and is by INVITE ONLY. Some biomimetic dentists just do a weekend seminar or something and then label themselves biomimetic. Don’t get fooled!

Another aid that I have used is my red light tool by Photonic Health. I only thought to shine this healing light on my teeth and gums, after visiting the holistic dentist and not resonating with the treatment plan she had in mind for me, so I am excited to watch the improvements in the weeks and months ahead.

Finally, know that there’s no one panacea to keep your mouth biome, teeth, and gums healthy. This dental healing journey will take time and effort, but the rewards of less time in a dental chair, vibrant smile, and good ability to chew into later years, are so worth it.

In my next article, I’ll break down the steps I took to finally, loud drum roll here, beat the nearly two year battle I’ve had with an entrenched (that was the doctor’s word for it) fungal infection. Hint: the clay toothpowder / dental mud played a critical role!

Our body is intricately connected. I learned the hard way that preventing tooth decay is so worth the time, energy, and focus. I had to eventually practice more self discipline to remineralize my teeth, which thankfully, also balanced my gut bacteria!

This was a health issue I detailed in my book, Take It Upon Yourself to Live a Wholly Vibrant Life. You won’t believe the synergy between all of the products and supplements involved, not to mention the pain I endured, time, and money spent to unravel and resolve the issue!
